Summer-coated female grazing in pasture at the edge of a Dorset heath. Introduced Sikas are the main deer species to be seen in the Studland peninsula area of Dorset and are increasingly strictly managed to prevent spread to other areas. Hybridisation with native Red Deer is a particular worry for conservationists.
