20240303 (51)_Muntjac

I was at Stanwell Moor near London Heathrow Airport, dividing my time between jets and birds, when I became aware of an animal watching me from the top of the nearby bank, just its head showing above the earth and among the branches of trees and bushes. It was a male Muntjac and it lingered long enough for me to fiddle the focus through the obscuring vegetation to it.
