Boldest and biggest of the cubs of Hoppity and Patch's 2023 litter, dog fox Rusty is the only one who will approach to our front step while we are there: he will sometimes wait for us upon it. He is however nervous of adult dog fox Toff who is increasingly exerting his new-found authority in the area: he is checking for that worthy now before concentrating on me with the chicken.
