Old pre-digital photograph (still Canon DSLR though!) rephotographed. Drake at Pugney's Country Park, Yorkshire on 24 April 2004. This remains a very rare visitor to the British Isles and those that turn up are generally shy and unapproachable so I am glad to have even this rubbish image. Interestingly, vagrants seem to be mostly found in March and April presumably on their way North having wintered further South in continental Europe.
