An old pre-digital photograph rephotographed. I think the second for Britain, foraging on open ground in front of the bird observatory compound at Landguard, Felixstowe, Suffolk. I visited with a friendly opposition colleague from British Aerospace Dynamics after a meeting at Stevenage: we not only scored on this delightful warbler but also three Dotterel in the Brecks on the way back. Not bad for a work day.
