20231006 (4)_Stejnegers_Stonechat
The day after we saw a Siberian Stonechat at Lunna we travelled to Norby to see a Stejneger's (or more recently Amur) Stonechat frequenting fence lines in the area. It had gone missing when we arrived but Roy correctlyb guessed it might be in the sheltered area of iris beds at the far end of the loch and eventually we had decent views of this overall darkish and richly chestnut-rumped stonechat in that area. Not a bad double for the trip!
