English Electric's entry in the Air Ministry Lympne trials to find out how much performance could be obtained from a small low-powered aircraft. This aircraft is owned by the Shuttleworth Trust at Old Warden airfield where I saw it during their Bedfordshire Vintage Airshow: its performance is certainly marginal but it does take off and fly circuits. In the background is a replica of Hawker's Sydney Camm designed entry in the trials, the Cygnet.
