Built on behalf of Joseph Shuttleworth, originator of the fortune that underpinned the Shuttleworth Trust and its collection and base at Old Warden,Bedfordshire. After years of visiting for airshows I finally got around to visiting the house, which is small but interesting. Also many thanks to the gentleman meeting and greeting in the entrance hall who took time to tell Maz and me a lot about the house and the Trust.
