The centenary of the Italian Air Force was one of this year's themes of RIAT, held at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, and the Italian aviation community responded enthusiastically with a considerable number of privately owned aircraft in the static supporting the Air Force contribution. This Tornado IDS was from the official side of the balbo: gotta love a sharkmouth! The world's largest military airshow, with participants from around the globe, RIAT is a must each year for UK aviation enthusiasts at least.
