One of several Sri Lanka inshore fishing boats or groups of such boats that we encountered on our way to the the continental shelf that drops away close to Sri Lanka's South coast and is the reason great whales are encountered so close to shore. These boats attract seabirds such as terns so we paid close attention as we passed them.
