Searching in our open safari truck along ditches and streams and canals eventually found us two Fishing Cats that were so relaxed that we were able to watch them, spellbound, for over half an hour during a night drive in the area of Sigirya, Sri Lanka. These near-Bobcat sized cats hunt more than fish but do specialise in waterside prey. One of our most exciting and delightful experiences!
