Tiger I on a hilltop position in a scenario at The Tank Museum's Spring Tiger Day 2023 with running tanks and re-enactors dramatising the April 1943 action in which Tiger 131 (this actual Tiger) was captured - just two days from the 80th anniversary. Beneath the 88mm gun, a V gouged in the mantlet shows where a 6 pounder AP shell glanced off the underside of the gun barrel and wedged itself into the turret ring, jamming it solid and causing the crew to abandon the Tiger.
