After the big wind a big find for someone and a quick trip to Yell for us to see Swainson's Thrush, one of several similar small American thrushes that have graced British shores over the years. This was my fifth in the British Isles but first in Scotland and Shetland, all the others having been at the far end on the Isles of Scilly.
