A raft of summer-plumaged adult Black-throated Divers on the arm of Lake Saimaa near Savonlinna where our hosts, Taru's parents, live in Southern Finland. Black-throated Divers seem to indulge in post-breeding gatherings of adults, unless of course they are non-breeders spending the summer together? Great to see a collection of these dazzling birds.
