20210724 (33)_Ruddy_Shelduck

Cat C bird from the near Continent feeding among rushes at Frampton Marsh RSPB, Lincolnshire. Ruddy Shelducks are mainly seen on the East coast following the return of Shelducks from moult in the Heligoland Bight and overall numbers involved easily preclude the possibility of escapes from wildfowl collections.
