River Warbler is a very rare vagrant to the British Isles with most of the records limited to the Northern Isles. News of a singing male showing very well at Ham Wall RSPB reserve, part of the marvellous massive complex of wetlands West of Glastonbury, led to a visit and terrific views of this Locustella warbler reeling at close range.
