Possibly of an Eastern form, as the saying goes... this Lesser Whitethroat at Quendale Mill on Mainland Shetland didn't look like our normal European summer visitors, being browner and with a dusty cast to the colours. Given the origin of other birds present on the islands at the moment it doesn't seem unreasonable to postulate an Eastern origin for this.
