Thunderbird One gets airborne at RIAT 2017. Lt Col Jason Heard (Command/Lead) taking off just ahead of the rest of the formation to do a quick cloudbase check. Considerable relief all round when it proved that the weather was just good enough for a flat show: Thunderbirds are go!
