Do not be deceived by the colourful reflections shimmering on the water - this was the first of several choice sewage works we visited in Israel (birders go to all the best places) and it stunk to high heaven in the afternoon heat. The Spur-winged Plover was a tick which was nice, and it sat for a pic, which was nicer.
