20161014 (50)_Siberian_Accentor

Britain's second ever Siberian Accentor, found just five days after the first was recorded on Shetland, and still present (thankfully!) on Friday morning when I was able to travel to Easington, East Yorkshire, to see it. The birds have turned out to be part of an unprecedented influx of the species into Western Europe with over 150 individuals found at the time of posting.
