20161008 (26)_Little_Bunting

Little Buntings are regular scarce migrants through the British Isles in autumn, sufficiently so that they are no longer considered official rarities. We were lucky enough to turn up to Quendale, near the South end of Mainland Shetland, hoping to see two together - and find three! Even more fortunately they showed very well. LB2 showing left side of its face.
