Autumns first kiss

I'd not been to Snelsmore Common in over a decade, even though it's only a few miles from home, somehow I'd just ignored it. However, after reading a blog post about the Heather on the Common by Jake Turner (www.jrturnerphotography.co.uk), I realised what I'd been missing and i had to have little look.

 

I spent a lovely few hours wandering round this weekend and although the heather was past its best, i still came away with a few images and lots of ideas for future ones. I'll definitely be back to explore the area further it's got so much potential.
