close up - I read that he collected and used pieces of found paper - calendars, children's doodles, etc - and placed them behind his drawings (that look like ink on tracing paper). I think all of the work I saw also had phrases typed at the bottom of the tracing paper (quirky, irreverent, insightful phrases). My favorite of the whole fair.
