William Boydell House--Detroit MI

This 1895 Beaux Arts double house was built for a wealthy paint and varnish company executive. The three-story limestone and brick residence was designed by noted local architect Almon Clother Varney. Constructed when Cass Avenue was a fashionable street, the home has survived to be renovated as Cass Avenue makes a 21st century comeback
