An Old Wall Sign On Woodward--Detroit MI
An old sign appeared when a building was demolished a few years ago. Because it had a wall protecting it, the colors are still vivid even after perhaps 60 years.
The "Champion" of this brand was the French turn-of-the-20th century bicyclist, Albert. He also lent his name to the AC auto products brand.
NOTE: (January 2013) Unfortunately, the sign has been mostly painted over and the greater portion of the original advertisementl has been lost.
