Meadow Lark
The Western Meadow Lark (Sturnella Neglecta) is a gregarious ground forager often gathering in large flocks in meadows (Imagine that!) along roadsides in California. His melodious song is synonymous with the trills of American songbirds. These Photos were taken in the Antelope Valley of Southern California's Mojave Desert.
