When I saw that NiR McBride of [sau] created a ME 262 I just had to have it!

 

I was a model builder as a kidd and there was nothing funner than creating dioramas. This is my little pixelated diorama.

 

Fun Facts:

 

The ME 262 was the 1st operational jet fighter in history.

 

Top speed of the ME 262 was 540 mph vrs the P-51s 430mph

 

The pilot in the image depicts the cigar chomping fighter ace Generalleutnant Adolf Galland a true knight of the air.

 

After falling out favor with high command, he finished ww2 back in cockpit flying the ME 262 until the end of hostilities. Racking up 7 more victories in the 262 to add to his total war tally of 104.
