Words cannot describe the gratitude that I have for those who scarified so much for this achievement, but I will try anyway. This is the dedication that I wrote for my thesis dissertation.

Dedication

First and foremost, praise and thanks goes to my Saviour Jesus Christ for the many blessings undeservingly bestowed upon me. It is my prayer that this dissertation may be a testimony for you and your glory.

I also dedicate this dissertation to my loving parents. You uprooted yourselves from your home land, so that I could place my root in a better place. You left your career in your prime, so I could grow into my prime with my parents beside me. You changed your careers in late adulthood, so I could pursue my dream career. You gave everything to me, and everything I am, is owed to you. Thank you, Mom and Dad; I love you.

Finally, I dedicate this to my beautiful wife, Sherry. Meeting you was the best gift God has given me, and I am still overwhelmed by the thought that we are now married. I know the past year has been difficult for you as I was kidnapped by the board exams, clinic duty, and research. Thank you for taking all the loads that are supposed to be shared between husband and wife, and allowing me to concentrate during this critical time. I could not have done this without you; hence, this is dedicated to you. Now that I have been released, I look forward to spending every moment with you and our future children, for the rest of my life.
