The Park of La Salette is an extremely pleasant place, which is an important part of the religious, cultural and historic heritage of Portugal. It has an area of approximately 17 hectares adjacent to the center of the City of Oliveira de Azeméis. This magnificent Park is situated on a hill which used to be called “Hillock of Castro” or “Calvary”. The Park of La Salette was designed by Jerónimo Monteiro da Costa and constitutes an “ex-libris” of the City of Oliveira Azeméis. In the Park of La Salette is located the Chapel of Our Lady of La Salette
