New Engraved Sign For Waverly Park, West Caldwell, NJ
I added an engraved stone in a corner of Waverly Park, the community park in my neighborhood, which I had mmade by DesignAStone.com. As one walks down the sidewalk along Waverly Place in West Caldwell, New Jersey, the sign appears in this little corner of grass alerting the pedestrian that he or she has arrived that park. To complement the sign, I added marigolds and a miniature American flag.
It says "Est. 2013" because that's the year the park was founded. A group of middle-school girls started the community park on town-owned land as an environmental and beautification project. I pretty much take care of the park in my own now, but I don't take credit for founding it.
