Acapulco Thing

This special-edition VW Thing has a fringe roof and a rear roll bar. It's called the "Acapulco Thing," and not only because it was made in Mexico. It's meant to mimi the open-air runabouts that ferried tourists around in Mexican resorts.

 

There's that blue color again . . . ;-)
