SLUGBUG

I've seen this modern Beetle with the vanity license plate "SLUGBUG" on it around where I live, but this was the first chance I got to photograph it.

 

This is a 2012 Beetle, the first Beetle of the second - and final - watercooled Bug generation. It likely has the 2.5-liter "fiver" that was the standard engine for the Beetle and for the sixth-generation Golf.
