Dodge Intrepid Sedan
This car, a 1998 Intrepid, is a redesign of the original Dodge sedan that helped revive Chrysler's sinking fortunes in the early nineties. The original Intrepid broke new ground with its "cab-forwarding" design and the Mark 2 Intrepid took the concept a step further with its more radical shape.
It was replaced by the Charger sedan in 2005, which was more evolutionary than revolutionary. Chrysler may have made a mistake as big as Ford discontinuing the Taurus (which was brought back) when it had Dodge dump the Intrepid.
