Fest For Beatles Fans, 2015: Musicians' Forum
Ken Dashow of WAXQ-FM, right, moderated the "Musicians' Forum," a conversation-cum-jam-session among the musicians who made it to the 2015 Fest For Beatles Fans on the Sunday of the convention. (Gary Wright had to leave early that day.) The musicians talked about how the Beatles and other rockers were influenced by different forms of music, particularly the blues, and they drifted into various riffs and songs.
Pictured are, from let, Glenn Burtnik of the Weeklings, saxophonist and Ringo Starr sideman Mark Rivera, Laurence Juber, and Ringo's old producer Mark Hudson (he of the rainbow beard).
Burtnik played bass, Rivera obviously had his sax, and Juber and Hudson had guitars - acoustic guitars.
No auto-tuners! :-p
