Denali Wolf (Savage River#2)
This is the second wolf we observed near Savage River Campground in Denali NP.
This picture displays the very large paws that wolves have.
I was given 2 different packs to suspect by different rangers. One advised that the East Fork pack alpha's had split off from the main pack and seemed to be establishing a new pack near Savage River, Another told me that it was probably the Alpha's from the Jenny Creek Pack. I suspect the first as that ranger had spoken to the wolf specialists while the other was at the visitor center and I needed to get him off of telling me that they were grey wolves and that my question was which pack.
