Red-tailed Hawk [Buteo jamaicensis]
This hawk was a regular visitor to my backyard for several days. The bird would perch for hours in a tree overlooking my bird feeders. It didn't seem to bother the birds at the feeders but the usually omnipresent squirrels were nowhere to be seen.
