Cracking crabs black-back style
For those who don't know, gulls will often drop crabs, clams, mussels or other prey with hard shells from the air onto hard surfaces below to crack them open for easier dining. This one was dropping his crab from about 30 feet in the air. More than one car has been damaged by this behavior, especially when they are dropping clams which can be quite heavy and really make an impact when dropped from any height.
