Refurbished Putney WHV
Some more Putney WHV rides today, primarily to get my last ‘old style’ WHV35, but then a lot of winners led me onto the 430.
The later Putney WHV’s are now undergoing refurbishment and one such example in the shape of WHV118 is seen on Danebury Avenue in Roehampton, two stops from its terminus.
The Launderette which the bus is passing was used in the first episode of Minder in 1979, ‘Gunfight at the OK Launderette’ in which Terry was held hostage inside! 19.2.25.
