T1017 in the yard
Now converted to single door. This one made the local papers not long after this when it caught fire on Riverhill in Sevenoaks on a school working. It did survive the experience but in common with four of the other five yellow ones it didn't have a long life ahead of it, and like them it went via West Kent for spares (sadly including 955, though I did keep it's chassis plate as a keepsake!). The exception to that was 1070, easily the most problematic one (in fact the 'bus doctor' in an earlier life once told me it had Titan cancer!) which was disposed of early and survived a good few years with Newnham Coaches of Hook, true irony...
