This belle was no lady. The Michigan Union was an organization strictly for males. Like Shakespearean stage actors, the boys took all the roles . . . . The circus, a Union fundraising project, in 1924 was held March 7 through 9. Several other photographs of the parade appeared in that year's Michiganensian.
