Charles W. Graham took over the Sheehan State Street bookstore, but kept the old name for a while.

This advertisement is from the 1918 Michiganensian. When Graham took over Sheehan's bookstore in January of that year, a 17-year employee named Myron E. Slater left, and opened his own store at 334 South State Street. In 1929, Slater bought this store and another one from Graham.
