John V. Sheehan, UM Class of 1887, State Street bookseller: advertisement in the 1900 Michiganensian.

The Michiganensian was the University of Michigan's student yearbook. By 1900, Sheehan also had a store in Detroit. He was a director and vice president of Ann Arbor's State Savings Bank, and a land developer (Sheehan Street between Dewey and Granger bears his name; it is in the Hamilton, Rose and Sheehan addition to the City of Ann Arbor.) He lived in a big house on the NE corner of Huron and Division.

(The house got torn down for a gas station.)

John Vincent Sheehan, LLB, died at Ann Arbor, April 24, 1916. Age 60.
