Laguna de Apoyo

We visited this lake in order to participate in research which involved scuba diving in the lake in order to monitor fish populations and behaviors. There are several species of fish that are unique to the lake. Below you can also see and feel the fumaroles from the volcanic activity underneath the crater lake.
