THE BIGGEST QUESTION OF ALL

 

we may not be what we appear to be

our physicality may not be anything

all that is around us may not be much

what is left is neither mine nor yours

neither of us can put our finger on it

for sure it is beyond words to express

however it's the biggest question of all

LA PIÙ GRANDE DOMANDA DI TUTTE

 

potremmo non essere ciò che sembriamo di essere

pure la nostra fisicità potrebbe non essere nulla

tutto ciò che ci circonda potrebbe non essere granché

ciò che rimane non appartiene né a me né a te

nessuno di noi può individuarlo esattamente

di sicuro è qualcosa che va oltre le parole

comunque è la più grande domanda di tutte

wir können nicht sein, was wir scheinen

unsere Körperlichkeit kann auch nichts sein

alles, was um uns herum ist, kann nicht viel sein

was bleibt, ist weder meins noch deins

keiner von uns kann den Finger darauf legen

sicher ist es nicht in Worte zu fassen

es ist jedoch die grösste Frage von allen
