Colchicum centre

I HAVE to get the Nikon out and get GOOD pics of this but here we are, ALMOST finished my most recent painting. Based on a photo taken last autumn at our front door of a Colchicum in bloom. The colours in the stamens were absolutely STUNNING!!!

Done
