Alas, cropped a bit too much but I am not good at straightening photos yet!! HOWEVER, you get the idea. There is still a bit of work in the bloom itself and some edge defining and cleaning up to do, but I THINK , apart from that, I am calling this DONE- except the background! I THINK I have decided on a dark background. The original photo was shot against a black board, but I do not want black. That said, I just CANNOT decide. ANY and ALL suggestions will be considered seriously so please, feel free. On the whole, for a big piece of intense work, I think I am fairly pleased. There are LOTS of things I'd do differently next time but next time will not be this peony so... who knows??? I am thinking Daylilies, as they are currently on the rise in our garden.
