For the benefit of the technically inclined among you, this is LIKELY a Brewerton Corner Notched projectile point , most likely knapped on Onondaga chert. It is likely circa 5000-4000BP. It would be a spear point or something like that. It is large- way too big to be used on an arrow. Our daughter has a PhD in Anthropology/Archaeology , her forté being Lithic Analysis. We await her confirmation or otherwise but she ALSO has two babes- one newborn, one almost three so this point may not be her current priority right now.
