Lunaria Seed Pods
OK, This is a painting DONE by me, Drawn by me and Painted by ME BUT... it is an exercise, step by step from Jean Haines' book, Colour and Light in Watercolour New Edition. Ms Haines is a very inspiring, good teacher and I am really enjoying working through her books and her well thought out exercises. I realized doing this little piece (9"x12") that I REALLY DO need my new wash brush in order to get nice loose, "sloppy" washes! Once I have that, I'll try this again, on better paper and change things up more so it is more truly MY painting. Then, if it turns out decently, I can sign it! I am a stickler for observing copyright so I feel there is waayy too much JH here to give it my CMcM. And here endeth today's sermon!
