After six years, things just were not the same any more. The spark was gone from the relationship, and it was time for a change.
So, after six years, my EOS 10D just didn't suit my needs anymore. I flirted with a EOS 30D, but it wasn't that much better. Then, on Craig's List, I saw the object of my desire, an EOS 1D Mark III for a great deal, and that was it.
It was a busy weekend, but I managed to shoot a few frames of my favorite subject to test the new camera. The shot is full frame with available light, in full shade. The file had very minimal post processing in iPhoto, and I'm happy with the results from the new EOS so far. Looking forward to giving the camera a more thorough test in the next few weeks.
