Walking the Jewish Quarter [4055]

Largely destroyed during the War of Independence in 1948, in which the Jewish Quarter was occupied by Jordan, and During the Six day War, in which the Quarter was liberated by the IDF, much of the area is recent construction. The wide (for Old Jerusalem) streets are a stark contrast to those in the Muslim Quarter.
